Rachel Huey, Principal Designer of DOERAEMI Studio, believes that our home is our sanctuary and our environments have a profound impact on how we experience our everyday lives. She is passionate about creating residential and commercial spaces that feel beautiful, functional and charming.
Rachel's career began in Los Angeles, where she pursued her education in Interior Architecture and Design at UCLA, learning from some of the most talented designers in the industry. During this time, she honed her skills in color theory, material selection, and space planning, becoming well-versed in the latest design tools, furnishings, and techniques.
After moving back to her hometown in Tampa, Florida, Rachel launched her design firm, DOERAEMI Studio. Specializing in creating interiors that reflect her clients' unique styles, she creates elevated and stylish spaces that remain functional and livable.

Studying design history allowed Rachel to appreciate all different styles, and loves the juxtaposition of new and old coming together to create a truly unique space. While “picture perfect” is, well, perfect, she most enjoys creating spaces that are warm with charm and feel like home.
